Freedom Of Religion is NOT the issue in this matter. Its the location of choice that your wanting to build the Mosque. Go ahead build your Mosque, just chose a different location!!!! What are we saying the nation when we allow this? What are we saying the victums, to the people and family who are still affected? We can co-exist, we ARE a big melting pot, we have been co-existed for years. It is not about racism, hate, or being against the religion. It is about being insensitive to the emotions the NY people that are affected by the castrophe of 9/11 along with all the americans who watched. It is horrible that it had to be from the muslim nation, and you are not to blame for their actions, but you have to understand where we are coming from.It might not have been you that pulled the muslim trigger, but it was from the muslim nation that did this to New York and to America. Please reconsider chosing a more suitable location for your mosque if you have respect for this country that you so chose to live in.
